In “A Hidden Life” August Diehl plays the Austrian farmer Franz Jägerstätter, who refused the oath to Hitler and was executed for it. For Monopol Magazine, Frauke Schlieckau talked to him about resistance and the directing phenomenon Terrence Malick.
